[Funding] DaaS Platform Yugabyte Raises $48 Million led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and others

EdTech startup Lattu Media Pvt Ltd (or Lattu Kids) has announced that it has closed seed round funding from Mumbai Angels. This follows Airtel picking up a strategic stake in Lattu Kids in June 2020 as part of the Airtel Startup Accelerator Program. With this latest round of investment, the company plans to ramp up the hiring of talent. It also aims to scale up its product portfolio to serve the fast-growing market for quality educational content for kids.

Lattu Kids specializes in digital learning tools for children. Its app focuses on improving English vocab, reading and Maths foundation skills for children under the age of 10 years. Thus, it does through entertaining, fun learning animated videos and games. Further, with this latest round of investment, Lattu Kids aims to ramp up hiring of talent. It also aims to scale up its product portfolio to serve the fast-growing market for educational content for kids.

Airtel is collaborating with Lattu Kids to take its content deeper and wider. This, it will do through the robust digital platforms that have over 160 million MAUs (mail user agents).
