Vistara has appointed Vinod Bhat as the new Chief Information Officer. Bhat joins Vistara from TCS, where he was the Global Business Head, CPG. He handled the company's business in the UK, Ireland & Europe. He had undertaken many leadership and managerial roles during his almost three-decade-long stint at TCS. As the CIO for Vistara, he will report to the company’s CEO, Leslie Thng. Further, Bhat replaces Ravinder Pal Singh, who left the company in January this year.
About Vinod Bhat
Bhat started his career at TCS back in 1993, where he joined as a program manager and team lead. Later, as the company’s global relationship director to a large US retail, pharma and healthcare firm, he was responsible for delivering a flagship application. The application rolled out across 7,000 stores and retail outlets.
Bhat completed his MTech in Computer & Information Sciences from the University of Hyderabad. He also holds an MSc in Electronics from the University of Kashmir. He is a Certified Quality Analyst (CQA) from the Quality Assurance Institute, US. Further, he also holds a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, US.
