In a bid to further boost its growth, online hiring platform, Hiree has announced a new freemium model which will offer basic services for free.
Though basic services will be provided at free of cost, advanced features must be paid for. The company is targeting a growth of 3x in the next 12 months through this model.
While the Quikr-owned Hiree will continue to provide services free of cost to job seekers, the new model targets recruiters. It will provide extra benefits to recruiters who will be able to post jobs and access hundreds of candidate profiles for free through the new model.
Manjunath Talwar, vice-president at QuikrJobs and co-founder at Hiree, “Online hiring platforms have typically followed a premium subscription model for employers. But freemium is one of the ways in which we are looking to grow ourselves in the market significantly. As a part of a larger company (like Quikr), we are able to take on larger bets, which will yield larger benefits for us."
Hiree's latest move, which follows the footsteps of Quikr, is expected to be a game-changer for the company. “Online classifieds have always been freemium. QuikrJobs has also followed a similar strategy. Bringing the freemium model to white-collar hiring will be a game-changer and we believe it will be a winning strategy for Hiree too," said Amit Jain, head of QuikrJobs.
Hiree, which offers benefits like smart matching algorithms, real-time alerts and a unique private messaging system, is built in a way to get most active candidates within search results improving hiring efficiencies. Its Android App for recruiters allows them to connect with candidates through call, whatsApp, SMS, e-mail and schedule meetings in real-time for future discussion.
Hiree was acquired by QuikrJobs in July 2016. While Hiree focuses on white collar segment, QuikrJobs is a platform offering different solutions for Blue Collar, Grey Collar and White Collar jobs across India.
