Flipkart, Amazon, and Paytm gear up for their 'BIG' Sale events

It seems like Diwali season has come a bit earlier this year, as e-commerce companies are all geared up to unveil their exclusive deals and discounts to lure consumers to shop whole-heartedly this festive season. The three biggest e-tailers of India- Flipkart, Amazon to Paytm are all offering exclusive deals and discounts on mobiles, electronics, and many other household things.

If Flipkart's Big Billion Day's sneak peek is anything to go by, the e-commerce major is offering a good bargain on Asus, Motorola and HTC budget smartphones as well as massive discounts and deals on Samsung Galaxy S7 and Redmi 4A. Additionally, it will be offering a launchpad for Lenovo K8 Plus and Panasonic Eluga Ray 700, among others. Flipkart will also be offering televisions, refrigerators, split ACs and washing machine for up to 70 percent off and up to 40 percent off on Ultra HD 4K TV.

The company adds that it's offering "never seen before offers on 500 plus brands". There will be exchange offers on printers and no cost EMIs on Apple iPads. Customers with SBI Debit and Credit cards will get special cashback offers. The Big Billion Days event is scheduled to start from September 20 to September 24.

Flipkart's rival Amazon is also going to launch its Great Indian Festival from September 21 to September 24 where it would be offering up to 70 percent off on home and kitchen items as well as on fashion products. Other offerings include up to 40 percent and 60 percent off on mobile phones and electronic appliances respectively. In addition to exclusive app-only deals, customers using Amazon Pay will also get 10 percent cashback up to Rs 500.

Amazon would also be running a contest on its app under the Amazon App Jackpot wherein consumers could win prizes worth Rs 2,00,000. Additionally, Amazon's home brand Amazon Basics products will be available on discounts of up to 60 percent. Amazon Prime members will get an early access to the deals on 20th September 12 pm onwards.

The newest entrant in this market, Paytm Mall too is launching its first major sales event named 'Mera Cashback Sale' from September 20 to September 23.  During the sale, Paytm Mall will be offering cash backs ranging from 15 percent to 100 percent on consumer electronics, mobile phones, fashion products and other items. 25 lucky smartphone buyers will get 100 percent cash back and a daily chance to win 100 grams of Paytm Gold for 200 customers. The company will be offering cash back worth 20 percent on televisions, refrigerators and washing machines.

With so many discounts and cash back on top products, while the consumers will be surely be spoilt for choices, the sale events will also establish how the three horses of the Indian e-commerce race are faring.
