Fitbit launches Ionic Smartwatch and Aria 2 smart scales for the Indian market

Fitbit announced the launch of the latest Ionic Smartwatch, Flyer Bluetooth headphones and Fitbit Aria 2 smart scales in India. Fitbit says the Ionic, Flyer and Aria 2 will be sold across major retailers including Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios and through Fitbit's online partners in India.

a. Fitbit Ionic Smartwatch-

The fitness tracker comes with features such as heart rate tracking, 50-meter water resistance, Fitbit Pay, and GPS. Fitbit states that the smartwatch comes with a new SpO2 sensor which allows it “to track deeper health insights”. The battery life of the smartwatch is up to 5 days, with automatic activity and sleep tracking features.

The smartwatch comes with a 1.42-inch touchscreen color LCD display, which has up to 1000 nits of brightness.  There is 2.5GB of native storage and one can store up to 300 songs on the device. Further, the smartwatch also features Fitbit Pay for contactless payments. The payment will be available for the US and Canada users as of now.

The Fitbit Ionic smartwatch is priced at Rs 22,990 and will be available in three color combinations- silver gray tracker and clasp with the blue-gray band, smoke gray tracker and clasp with the charcoal band, and burnt orange tracker and clasp with the slate blue band.

b. Fitbit Flyer headphones-

Fitbit Flyer is a wireless headphone that can pair with any Fitbit Ionic or any other Bluetooth device. The Flyer features a sweatproof design with customizable fit and supports music streaming, audio coaching from the Fitbit Coach app. The Fitbit Flyer also features passive noise isolation for an immersive audio experience. Apart from that, it has quick charge support and multi-device connectivity. The wireless headphones have a battery backup of up to 6 hours on a single full charge. The wireless headphones are priced at Rs 9,990.

c. Fitbit Aria 2-

Alongside Ionic and Flyer, Fitbit also launched Aria 2 Wi-Fi Smart Scale that can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth and helps users to track and understand body composition including weight, body fat percentage, lean mass, and BMI. The Fitbit Aria 2 costs Rs 9,990.
