Fighting back the flood of fake news, Facebook has already bashed the fake news sites from its platform. Recently the company also asked users to report fake news through a survey. Now, the social media giant has rolled out a user reporting feature, leading you to eventually block the source of fake news.

Now if you see a fake news article in your feed, you’ll have the option of selecting “It’s a false news story” if you click on the “Report post” feature.

Just click on the drop-down option at the top right corner of the post.

After clicking on the “Report post” option, you can choose “I think it shouldn’t be on Facebook” option followed by “It’s a false news story,” option. According to the Facebook standards, obviously, you will have to explain the outline for declaring it “false news”.

In the end, you will be given choices of actions you can take to avoid seeing such content again, such as blocking, unfriending, or unfollowing the person who posted the article. A notice is sent to Facebook so that they can review the allegedly false news story.
