Facebook's Messenger Kids which lets parents control who kids can talk to is arriving on Android in the US. TechCrunch first reported on the Android rollout.
The app gives parents the control over who their kids talk to, allowing them to add or delete contacts, and sends them notifications if their children report or block anyone they've been chatting with. The Messenger Kids app offers video and text chat along with the types of playful masks and filters.
Facebook says the Messenger Kids app will also have a slew of Valentine's Day-themed masks, stickers and frames for users to play with. The app also comes with comes with stickers, GIFs, frames, and emojis so that kids can 'creatively' express themselves.
Android is the last major platform the app needed to debut on, having initially debuted on iOS, followed by last month’s arrival on Amazon Fire tablets. The app can be downloaded from here.
