Facebook is testing a new feature that allows users to download all the videos over Wi-fi so that it starts playing immediately once inside the app. The new feature was spotted by The Next Web's Matt Navarra.
The new feature will boost viewership and improve the overall experience of the users by downloading all of the videos at one go. Downloading them on Wi-Fi also saves cellular data and might encourage more viewing on mobile, since people will know they don’t have to eat into their cellular plan.

Facebook confirmed that as of now, the new feature is available to a small percentage of Android users. There's no indication of when this feature will roll out on a global scale.
Additionally, it has also launched a new feature for mentorship between the users. This test feature is essentially Facebook’s next step in the direction of LinkedIn’s territory. After Facebook recently launched LinkedIn-like Jobs within the platform, another report by TechCrunch r suggests that Facebook is testing a way to use its social network to link up users who are looking for mentorship.
