NTA, which is conducting the JEE Main 2021 for the postponed April Session (Session - 3), has announced the availability of admit cards on its portal. The CBT model paper will happen at different centres located in 334 cities throughout the country and abroad on 20 July, 22 July, 25 July, and 27 July 2021. To partake in the exam, students need to download their admit card and show it in the examination centre. The admit card will also have details about the centre, the date and time of the exam and other personal information.
NTA, in a statement, said that for Session 3, a little over 7 lakh students have registered. These candidates have to download their Admit Card of JEE Main - 2021 for Session - 3 (using their Application No. and Date of Birth) along with the undertaking from the JEE Main website w.e.f. 13 July 2021. They also need to go through the instructions contained therein as well as in the Information Bulletin. NTA will provide separate information will be given for downloading the Admit Card for Session – 4 for JEE (Main) – 2021.
How to download JEE Main 2021 Admit card for the April session?
Here is how you can download it:
• Go to JEE (Main) official website.
• Click on any of the “Download Admit Card” link on the homepage of the website.
• New window will open wherein you have to enter your credentials to log in.
• Your JEE Main 2021 Admit Card will display on the screen.
• Download and take a print of the JEE Main 2021 Admit Card.
The entrance examination will take place in four cycles this year. The first session commenced from February 23 to February 26 and the second part from March 15 and March 18. The NTA has postponed the April-may exam to July-August. Now, the third part will take place between July 20 and July 25. The last part of the exam will take place between July 27 and August 2.
About JEE Main
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (BE/BTech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions, Universities funded and recognized by participating State Governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
