Your top priority while making decisions to improve tech infra in your organisation?
As we are a security company, our own security is the top most priority for us. Before starting to build/enhance anything, we thoroughly discuss first the probable security issues associated and how to properly handle that.
Challenges you face in driving digital transformation?
Digital transformation is something where a change is demanded for good. We have a passionate young agile team which is always keen to know about what is new, what is bad in the current approaches they follow and how to become better by transforming their actions to the best approaches possible.
The only major challenge we face in such situations is time! We are running in a marathon where every second for us is gold.
Do you feel that freshers in the industry come with only basic knowledge but don’t have the right skills to fulfil job requirements? If yes, your suggestion to students and colleges?
It completely depends on the environment a student gets in his institute. We have seen students who were extremely brilliant to students who don't know the very basics.
A good environment can be created by:
- The faculties by keeping their students updated with the latest tech and assigning logical project which should involve technologies demanded most by the industry
- By the students by keeping themselves involved with online learning platforms like udemy, edx, nptel and making their peers also aware of that
What’s your mantra to become successful in life?
Follow your passion. Be consistent!
Consistency is the only key to become successful.. and remain successful!
Try to learn something from every day. Be consistent in it. Learning every day is like earning Lego bricks. Some days you earn a smaller brick, some days it is large. You can build a chair or a car or a whole empire of your own by these Lego bricks!
What would you like to give back to the society?
I would love to give back 2 things to the society:
- If I would get a chance to alter our education system, I would love to introduce chapter 1 as "Why to study this subject" in all the subjects so that student themselves then start to show interest in the subjects
- Free internet to every individual
Your favourite book and what are you reading now?
I just read technical books. My most favourite is "Network Warrior" and currently, I am reading "HTTP: The Definitive Guide".
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
After computer science, I love space science. Whenever I get free time I mostly spend it watching videos explaining about new discoveries or concepts related to space.
