Challenges you face in driving digital transformation?
In the current scenario, we are not facing any issue in driving the digital transformation. In the initial stages we did face some issues like lack of overall digital strategy with its exact outcomes, changes in the organizational structure due to introduction of new technologies, lack of expertise to lead the initiatives taken for digital transformation and lastly the push back from the employees for the acceptance of new technologies at the workplace.
These were some issues faced but they were handled effectively by developing a company-wide digital transformation strategy and making the employees comfortable with the changed environment. As of now, we have been able to adapt the digital transformation at our workplace effectively and are not facing any such challenges.
Do you feel that freshers in the industry come with only basic knowledge but don’t have the right skills to fulfill job requirements? If yes, your suggestion to students and colleges?
No, I don't agree with this statement. With the changing times and development, the freshers nowadays are curious, smart and talented enough to adjust to the organization's environment. Even though they might not have the skills developed completely but their zeal to learn and compete is worth appreciating. I have been working with many freshers in my organization but to be honest I have not faced any issue in terms of productivity and output.
