CMAT 2021: Registrations begin on NTA website; Apply by January 22

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. CMAT 2021 will help AICTE institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses.

NTA will conduct CMAT 2021 as a three-hour entrance examination in CBT mode. The CMAT 2021 will evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness, for admission to the Management Courses in the Academic Session 2021-22. All participating institutes of CMAT 2020 will also accept the CMAT score.

About CMAT 2021

Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019. All AICTE approved institutions, university departments, constituent colleges and affiliated colleges will accept the score. In fact, this year affiliated Colleges and Institutes of Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will accept CMAT 2021 score. Earlier candidates had to give UPSEE to enrol in the institute.

Candidates must apply separately the colleges with the CMAT Score 2021. Thereafter, each participating institution will release their respective cut off CMAT Scores which a candidate should meet to get admission to that particular institution. Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular Institution, which may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

How to apply for CMAT?

1. Open the CMAT official website. You will be redirected at the application form. Read the examination instructions, download them and click on proceed. Fill up your personal details including name, address and qualifications.

2. Create a password which will help you to log in the website later. Enter the security pin on the website and submit.

3. Upload the required documents including Class 10 and 12 marks sheet, graduate mark sheet. Submit the final application. After that, you will receive a confirmation mail. Then the aspirant can again try to login with the new password or correct application number.

Gen-EWS/ SC/ST/PwD /OBC-(NCL): Male - 1000 Female - 1000

Transgender - 1000

The last date to apply is January 22. You can also pay the fee by January 23.
