ClearTax appoints Ravi Sandepudi as Entrepreneur-in-Residence

ClearTax is one of India’s leading tax and fintech solutions provider. The startup, on a rapid growth trajectory, has onboarded ex-Google and Paypal chief Ravi Sandepudi as its Entrepreneur-in-Residence. In his role, Ravi Sandepudi will drive efforts to build an SME-centric suite of offerings. He will also look at ClearTax’s fintech initiatives.

About Ravi Sandepudi

A BITS-Pilani alumnus, and The Wharton School drop-out, Ravi has previously spearheaded engineering at Simility. Simility is an end-to-end fraud and decision platform. He set up Simility’s Hyderabad and London offices. There, he also served as the acting GM of EMEA operations. PayPal then acquired Simility. Following this, Ravi was a director at Paypal and worked on its Privacy Platform. He also launched the payments services in China. Before Simility, he was also associated with Google between 2007 and 2014 in key roles at the tech giant’s Trust & Security wing.
