CBSE Released Class 10th and 12th Private, Corrective and Compartment Exams Schedule

CBSE will soon issue the detailed timetable for the 12th optional exam for students who want to improve their scores. Here's the link to application form.

Due to the pandemic, CBSE had cancelled all the remaining exams of Class 10th and 12th. It passed students on the basis of their internal assessments and gave them to appear for corrective exams on a later date. This included the students who failed and had to appear for compartment exams.

Turns out, there was a massive uproar on social media to cancel the exams. The matter even went to the Supreme Court. Yet, CBSE is adamant to conduct these exams in September. The registrations began yesterday.

The exams are for candidates whose result CBSE declared based on the assessment scheme. If you had exams from 1st July 2020 to 15th July 2020, but CBSE declared your result, and wish to improve their performance, here are the links.

The application process for the compartment exam has started and the candidates can apply till August 20. Fee per subject is Rs 300. You will have to use the above links even if you are a private student.

Further, CBSE has made it clear that the marks students score in these exams will be the final score. It has also asked regular students to approach their schools to participating in these exams. Private students can use these links available on the official website to participate in the exams.

Only those candidates whose name is submitted through the online process shall be allowed to appear for the examinations. It is proposed to be conducted in September 2020,” reads the CBSE notification. So you should apply soon.

A few days ago, CBSE had categorically refused to pass the students by giving grace marks, the board had said that students who failed in subjects one and two, will have to take the compartmental examination.

The detailed timetable for the exam will be issued in the near future.
