A social media post claiming that the board exams for class 10 and 12 will happen in March has gone viral. Post this, CBSE has released a clarification stating that it is yet to finalise the schedule. The official statement by the board asks the stakeholders not to believe in any such information. Issuing the notice on Thursday, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, said:
It has come to the notice of the CBSE that on several Social Media Platforms and in News Papers, dates/ months for starting of Class X & XII Board's examinations and Practical Examinations are being circulated. As these circulated information is not correct, hence, creating panic amongst the schools, students and parents.
In this regard, it is communicated to all the affiliated schools, students, parents and other stakeholders that do not believe on such information.
For any official information, kindly check the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in. If information is available on CBSE website, than it should be considered as correct otherwise not.
CBSE is well aware about the condition of the students and parents in the time of pandemic arid, therefore, whatsoever decision would be taken by the CBSE that will only be taken after consultation with all the stakeholders and will be communicated at an appropriate time through Boards website.

Practical Exams and Alternative Option For Practicals
Ramesh Pokhriyal stated, “CBSE Board will conduct practical exams on school-level. If it finds that the conduct is impossible, then we will think about it later. Although, I am adamant that conditions will improve.”
CBSE Datesheet
CBSE date-sheet for Class X, XII board examinations will be published after some time. The datasheet will only come put after proper consultation with the stakeholders. However, exams will be held in such a way that students will get more gap days.
Exam Centres and Examination Pattern and syllabus
The number of examination centres but there will be no home centre. In the wake of COVID-19, only 12 students will sit in one exam room. Examination pattern will be the same as the Sample Papers 2021, issued by CBSE.

Schools reopening
Students will return to school soon, said the Education Minister. "At least 17 states have reopened their schools with minimal attendance. Further, other states will decide based on the pandemic situations”, he stated.
JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021
On dates of JEE Main and NEET 2021, Ramesh Pokhriyal stated that EduMin is trying to assess the situation and give out the dates as soon as they can. Students have even asked to conduct exams multiple times in the year 2021. To which, he said that they are discussing the matter internally and considering if they can hold JEE Main up to four times. The education minister also stated that there is no plan to cancel the medical entrance exam.
