The Supreme Court has ordered that all CBSE 10th and 12th exams stand cancelled. These raised questions from the students going to give JEE and NEET 2020. Students have tweeted their concerns under HRD Minister's every post with the hashtags- "Health over Exams", "Students Lives Matter", "Postpone JEE Mains and NEET". So the good news is finally here as NTA now needs to speak up.
Ramesh Pokhriyal has asked NTA to issue guidelines relayed to JEE Mains 2020 and NEET 2020. In his video address, he mentioned that students and parents have flooded his social media and email sites with concerns. Thus, for that, he has asked NTA to tell what needs to be done latest by tomorrow.
Here is what he said:
Looking at the prevailing circumstances & requests received from students & parents appearing for #JEE & #NEET examinations, a committee consisting of @DG_NTA & other experts has been advised to review the situation & submit its recommendations to @HRDMinistry latest by tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/xByKLUqAIc

Students have thanked him for coming out. But there are still who are asking to postpone it and not set committees over the issue.
He has formed the panel after looking at the prevailing circumstances and requests from students and parents. The committee includes the General Body of National Testing Agency and other experts. The HRD ministry has asked the committee to submit a revised guideline for July 3, i.e tomorrow.
Background
JEE Mains 2020 Engineering entrance exam dates were 18th to 23rd July 2020. And NEET-UG 2020 medical entrance exam was on 26th July 2020. Many parents and aspirants feel that the situation around the COVID-19 situation has still not improved enough to hold the entrance exams currently.
Several students have reached out to the HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank asking him to cancel the entrance tests in the light of the rising number of Coronavirus cases in the country. Against this background, HRD Ministry has decided to appoint a panel that will look into the feasibility of holding the national level entrance tests in near future or may recommend its postponement to a later date when a more conducive situation is available for the students.
