Earlier this month, CBSE had activated the portal to fill forms for correction exam and compartment exam. But, students are still echoing their pleas of cancelling the exams. Every day, almost one lakh students tweet their demand. They are requesting everyone; be it political leaders, the PM, the EduMin, CBSE everyone.

Kartar Singh, a Compartment Exam student from Punjab told CIOL, "I have JEE Exams to give, but I don't have the result for 12th. That means I have to undergo the threat twice. How will I manage that? To think of it, I have a compartment with only 2 marks."

He urged the government to postpone the entrance exams until there is normalcy and pass the students on grace marks.

Soumya, a student told CIOL, "I have been tweeting to every possible person to help us, the compartment exam students. We are begging and in depression and anxiety. We don't know the dates of exams and are not able to concentrate on our studies. I ask CBSE to help us."

She lives in a joint family and does not want her family, especially her little cousin to contract COVID-19.

There are numerous stories from students all over India. Universities and schools across the country have been closed since March 16. The Centre announced a countrywide classroom shut down as part of measures to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. Then, a nationwide lockdown happened on March 24. It threw economic activities out of gear and changed our lives.

India's COVID-19 tally sprinted past the 30-lakh mark on Sunday, just 16 days after it crossed 20 lakh, while 22,80,566 people have recuperated in the country so far pushing the recovery rate to 74.90 per cent, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The recovery rate doesn't promise that there will be no deaths or long term effects. Thus, the voices are hopeful as CBSE still hasn't released the timetable for compartment exam.
