Rudratej Singh has been appointed as the new president and chief executive officer of BMW Group India, effective August 1, 2019. Rudratej ‘Rudy’ Singh holds 25 or more years of experience during which he has held multiple leadership positions both in automotive and non-automotive industry. Rudratej Singh has also served as the Global President at Royal Enfield. He has also worked with Unilever in India and international markets for over 16 years. Rudy Singh completed his graduation from Delhi University and MBA in Marketing and Finance from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.

When in August 2018, Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group Australia and New Zealand, Dr. Hans-Christian Baertels, the Director, Finance and Administration at BMW Group India served as the president at BMW Group India.
The new 2019 S1000RR will be launched by BMW Motorrad in India on 27 June. Compared to its predecessor, the fresh model is lighter and stronger. Powering the motorcycle is a newly built four-cylinder 999cc inline engine with a six-speed transmission system. The engine is good for developing respective power and torque outputs of 204 bhp and 113 Nm.
