Krafton, when announced the launch of its PUBG Spin-Off Battlegrounds Mobile India, it had also announced that it would collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly. The company has now decided to start with a series of India specific in-game events. The company states that privacy and data security are top priorities. Thus, it will also work with partners, to ensure data protection and security, at each stage. This will ensure privacy rights.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021
Now, bringing cheers to millions of BGMI enthusiasts in India, Krafton announced Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021. This will be the first esports tournament from Krafton. It follows the incredible response from fans to the official launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India on July 2.
Krafton has also announced a prize pool of one crore rupees for this inaugural series. It will further span across 3 months. The BGMI Series 2021 is open to all Indian residents and provide the biggest platform for competitive gaming in the country. With this announcement, Krafton also promises exciting times ahead for Indian gamers. This also marks the beginning of a series of new content, collaborations and esports tournaments Krafton will be introducing in the country.

Krafton content update for BGMI in partnership with Tesla
Krafton has also announced the introduction of Mission Ignition Mode. With a partnership with the forward-thinking automotive brand, Tesla, BGMI has provided the first content update for the game after its official launch on 2nd July. Some new features include:
- change in gyroscope sensitivity
- tuning the Third Person Perspective (TPP) camera angles
- ammo indicators to allow for more finesse in strategy
- 90FPS now supports a host of new devices
- addition of graphical option lower than smooth for low-end devices.
- addition of Sand Bottle Exchanges to the Events section as a free event.
Some brand-new events have been added to the mix, including Damage Missions, Movement Missions and, in keeping with the theme, all-new Mission Ignition Events.
Not only that, Tesla has installed their Gigafactory in four fixed locations across the BGMI map. Thus, users can watch the production of a Tesla Model Y from start to finish. They can also drive away in their new car. Further, they can experience the ground-breaking autopilot feature available in all Tesla vehicles.
