Avantika University embarks on digital journey with Dimension Data

MUMBAI, INDIA: Avantika University in Madhya Pradesh has embarked on a digital transformation journey with the ICT Solutions and Services provider Dimension Data to build a better and state-of-the-art learning facility for its students.

Avantika University is India’s first Design-Centered University- conceived to be a distinctive learning centre of India, that provides a comprehensive platform to develop the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. The university has chosen both physical and digital state-of-the-art infrastructure to support this.

Dimension Data designed and deployed the university’s new infrastructure, and will also manage its IT assets and landscape, underpinned by advanced cybersecurity technologies-  which makes it one of the largest projects undertaken within the Indian educational sector says the company.

Dimension Data has implemented a combination of latest technologies such as the Unified Threat Management solution and Hyper Converged infrastructure, to help the university reduce costs by 20% in the first phase.

Avantika University can now enjoy a scalable IT infrastructure and offer better facilities to students, simultaneously ensuring that its intellectual property is always secure through the backup, recovery, and disaster recovery built-in to a hyper converged environment.
