Though Apple has been revamping its iPhone series since a decade, it is yet to touch its Mac series since 2012, except the 12-inch Retina MacBook which saw its second version earlier this year. However, things are about to change.
After launching the most awaited iPhone 7 series, which doesn't sport headphone jack nor a physical home button, Cupertino giant is getting ready to introduce new Macs at an event on the company’s campus in Cupertino, on 27th October.
As we reported two months back about Apple's plan to refresh its Mac portfolio with new MacBook Air and iMac models, Apple officially announced the event for next week with the tagline “hello again.”
According to Wired report, "the new Mac laptop might have a secondary display above the keyboard that shows you dynamic function keys relevant to whatever app you’re using."
We can obviously expect a thinner, faster and redesigned MacBook Pro from this event. Moreover, we expect to see a new MacBook Air with a USB-C port. The upgrade should also include MacBook Airs, iMac desktops, Mac mini desktops, and Mac Pro desktops.
Apple released MacOS Sierra last month only, giving a confirmation for a laptop/PC centered event to take place next week.
It won’t be a splashy event, as the venue is Cupertino's small on-campus, instead of San Francisco's venue where the company held many recent events, including the iPhone 7 launch event.
