Apple and Reliance Jio team up for special offers on iPhone 8 and 8 Plus purchase

As iPhone 8 and 8 Plus' pre-bookings begin in India, Apple has teamed up with Reliance Jio and Reliance Digital stores to offer special discounts and deals to lure customers. Those who pre-book the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus between September 22 -29 will be eligible for Rs 10,000 cashback on the purchase. In order to claim the offer, you need to make the purchase with a Citibank credit card.

Additionally, there is also a 70 percent buyback offer for consumers who purchase the new iPhone 8 models from Reliance Digital, Jio.com, Jio Store, or MyJio app. The customer would be eligible for 70 percent of the original purchase price as buyback amount on the return of the device after a year.

Reliance Jio is also offering a special tariff plan for the same models. Under the Rs 799 plan, postpaid Reliance Jio users will get 90GB of data per month along with free voice calls, SMS and a complimentary subscription to Jio’s premium applications. The same Rs 799 plan is available for prepaid users with a 28 day validity period.

The iPhone 8, 64GB variant costs Rs 64,000, while the 256GB model costs Rs 77,000. Similarly, the iPhone 8 Plus price in India has been set at Rs 73,000 for the base 64GB storage variant, while the 256GB model costs Rs 86,000. The buybacks and cashback offers would surely make the new prices more attractive for customers.

Reliance Digital will also be taking pre-orders for the iPhone X from October 27 while sales will begin from November 3.
