If you are one of those who has been waiting for Apple iPhone 8 with bated breath, well we have some good news for you. According to a report from Mac4Ever, Apple is expected to launch its 10th anniversary special iPhone at a press event on September 12.
Citing carrier sources, the tech blog site says that mobile phone operators have already been told when to expect the Apple announcement as they have to prepare inventory and marketing for the imminent new devices.
Incidentally, the proposed date does fall in line with Apple's long followed tradition of holding press conferences on Tuesday. Apple usually starts pre-orders on the Friday after the press conference, which makes it September 15. And devices go on sale a week later i.e. September 22.
Besides iPhone 8, Apple is also expected to announce iPhone 7s and 7s Plus at the September event. There could be a new version of the Apple Watch too. The main change with this new watch could be that it’s going to have LTE connectivity. There could be a small update to the Apple TV as well with 4K video output.
