Almost a year after launching Google Assitant for iPhones, the search engine giant is bringing the voice assistant for iPads. The Assistant on iPad can do everything the Assistant on your iPhone can do, with the added benefit of a bigger screen that supports both portrait and landscape mode.
The iPad version also supports iOS 11's multitasking mode, which allows it to run side-by-side with other apps on Apple's tablet. The app works in both portrait and landscape mode. Much of the app's functionality is similar to Apple's Siri, but if your usage of Google ecosystem is more, then Google Assistant is the perfect match for you. The app can help you up with setting reminders, composing emails, playing music, help in navigation, answering questions and control connected smart home devices, among other things.
