Amazon Prime Day 2021

Amazon Prime Day is an annual event from Amazon, where the company announced members-exclusive deals. The event, which runs for two full days is exclusive to Amazon Prime members. It began in July 2015, when Amazon aimed to boost its bundled subscription for summer shopping. Every year, the company has carried out the event in July, except in 2020, when the pandemic created operational and logistics challenges. The company delayed Prime Day to October last year. Many reports have also suggested that Amazon aims to add another shopping event around the fall.

Speculations on Amazon Prime Day-Date

Multiple reports suggest that Amazon is currently targeting June to hold the Prime Day event in 2021. If it moves ahead with this plan, the Prime Day multi-day sales event will most likely happen in the latter half of the month. For example, Flag day for the US falls on June 14, and Father's Day falls on June 21st. Thus, the company is likely to eye the week between it.
