Airbnb introduced two new tiers named Airbnb Plus and Airbnb Beyond, which are aimed at the high-end customers.
Airbnb wrote in a blog post, "Every Airbnb Plus home is one-of-a-kind, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with a standard set of amenities — whether you’re in a private room or have the entire place to yourself. All Airbnb Plus homes are visited in person to ensure comfort, consistency, and design. They are checked for 100-plus things that guests told us they love, from must-have amenities to the art on the walls."
Introducing Airbnb Plus, a new selection of the most beautiful homes verified for comfort and quality.
Airbnb Plus hosts focus on every detail to create the perfect stay–whether you're staying in a private room or have the entire place to yourself.

The service will be live with more than 2,000 listings across 13 cities, including Austin, Barcelona, Cape Town, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Melbourne, Milan, Rome, San Francisco, Shanghai, Sydney, and Toronto. The average nightly rate for Airbnb Plus will be $200 instead of the $100 for standard listings.
Airbnb Beyond is aimed at travelers with deep pockets seeking luxury. "Beyond by Airbnb will offer custom designed trips of a lifetime, including the world's finest homes, custom experiences, and world-class hospitality," Airbnb wrote.
Airbnb currently has 4.5 million places to stay and guests had checked into an Airbnb more than 300 million times. It is also adding four new property types — vacation homes, unique spaces, bed and breakfast, and boutiques, the company said.
