Acer announced two 360-degree cameras- the Acer Holo360 and the Acer Vision 360 at the IFA 2017. The Acer Holo360 is a smartphone-sized 360-degree camera powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The LTE-connected camera comes with a 3-inch display and can capture 4K videos. It runs Android 7.1, making it easy for users to share their videos over social media.
Users can also preview videos directly on the device without the need to pair and sync with a smartphone or PC.
Acer Holo360 will be available from November at $429 bundled with a water-resistant case.
The Acer Vision360 supports remote viewing and location tracking (to help you find your car in the parking lot), and users will also be able to watch the footage back through Acer’s VR headset.
The cloud-connected services of the Acer Vision360 allow all collisions that occur when parked to be video recorded and notified to the user’s smartphone. Remote viewing and location-tracking are also enabled on the Vision360, which allows a user’s device to maintain data.
For safety, the Vision360 is mounted on the windshield, aligned with the driver's eyes and also displays the vehicle's current speed.
The price and availability of the Acer Vision360 are yet to be announced.
