PUNE, INDIA: Accel IT Academy (AITA) has opened its new centre in Modern Education Society's College of Engineering, (MES's CoE) Pune, Wadia campus, on 28 July.
The function was attended by General Manager of AITA, Damodaran, Principal of MES's CoE, Prof. (Dr.) L. G. Navale, Staff of AITA and the college, and large number of students.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Navale stressed the need for industry and institution to work together to meet the challenges of the future. He called upon the students and staff to think beyond curriculum and keep abrest with the latest technology.
Damodaran, briefly outlined the expectations of industry from fresh graduates and articulated the urgent need for overall skill enhancement in the campuses. He urged the students to think beyond traditional avenues like programming and coding and touched upon the potential of design and R&D fields.
In its new centre, AITA will conduct hardware networking, MCSE, RHCE, embedded systems and VLSI design engineering courses. The VLSI courses will use Cadence tools.
The centre is open to non-campus people as well.
