Chennai-based Zoho has launched Zoho One, a new all-in-one business app suite that includes 38 cloud applications and 55 mobile apps, and is priced at $30 per month per employee. For Indian users, it is priced at Rs 1,000 per month for an employee.
“At $1 a day, we are licensing not just our apps but peace of mind for our customers,” said Sridhar Vembu, founder Zoho. With Zoho One, a company has all the applications it needs to acquire and serve its customers (marketing, sales, and support apps) and run operations (finance, recruiting, and related HR apps). Zoho that competes with the likes of Salesforce and Microsoft in the space is hoping to bring on board at least 100 million new customers with its new offering in the next five years.
The strategy behind Zoho's new suite is to make the whole spectrum of Zoho offerings more appealing to businesses. For businesses that previously rationed their use of business apps, the pricing structure for Zoho One makes it easy to switch to using all Zoho apps.
“This is the unraveling of a strategy that has been in the works for 10 years. A suite like this typically costs hundreds of dollars and even then customers have to do software rationing. With Zoho One, not only are we doing away with the problem of rationed software but also making enterprise applications available to SMBs at consumer prices,” Vembu added.
While Zoho One includes lots of apps from the company’s suite, it doesn’t have apps such as Zoho CRM Ultimate Edition, Zoho Creator Express Plans, domain registration, and a few others.
For businesses interested in testing out Zoho One, the product is available worldwide today. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial on the company’s website. The company also is offering Zoho concierges to help organizations determine the best options for them.
