CHENNAI, INDIA: Maveric Systems, a global independent software testing specialist headquartered in Chennai, is looking at expanding its operation by acquiring mid-sized companies in the European region.
The company also banks on its IP-based framework to tap the finance division of enterprises for its services.
Speaking to CIOL, CEO of the company Ranga Reddy informed that testing industry has evolved over years and it is very difficult to address the market without specialization.
“Some of the large IT services companies are providing testing as part of the package. In order to differentiate and fight the competition, testing companies need to innovate to be ahead,” he said.
As a differentiator, Maveric has introduced Testac, a proprietary, domain-centric test design tool that empowers testing teams with automated generation of test cases for end-to-end as well as regression testing requirements.
"Testac encapsulates business knowledge on processes and rules using proprietary frameworks enabling Maveric to deliver significantly enhanced productivity and coverage to clients. We offer this as part of our testing process to our BFSI clients," said Reddy.

As a natural progression, the company is planning to offer its testing services to enterprise customers as well.
"We are looking at offering our services to finance division of enterprises. Since we have a strong focus on BFSI segment and the needs of the enterprise customers specifically from the finance departments are same, we are targeting them for our next phase of growth," Reddy added.
He said the company is also aiming to be in the top 5 testing company league.
“We are looking at a couple of acquisitions in the European region. This will provide us the scale required to be in the top five league.”
The company has offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai, Riyadh, London, New Jersey, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. It also has a dedicated global offshore delivery center and a testing R&D lab in Chennai.
Maveric offers test process consulting, managed testing services, transformation testing, business-as-usual testing, non-functional testing, security testing and testing program management which mainly focus on BFSI segment.
