MS Dynamics' reach fast spreading globally

CHENNAI: Microsoft and the Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Trichy have entered into an academic licensing program, whereby Microsoft will be licensing its ERP package Microsoft Dynamics AX for training purposes under its Dynamics Academic alliance licensing program.

This is expected to give an added edge to the management students at BIM-Trichy as focused ERP courses are becoming popular across B-schools in India.

Microsoft Dynamics AX is a suite of financial, customer relationship and supply chain management solutions that help businesses streamline their processes effectively. The advantage it has over other vendors is that it uses the powerful foundation laid by Windows and Office to deliver world-class business applications that are simpler and less expensive, offering more companies new ways to enhance the way they work.

Microsoft has been supporting several educational institutions across the world and once again showed tremendous enthusiasm for lending support to BIM. Their support would not only benefit the students but also the companies they would be working in, as companies will be able to readily deploy BIM's Dynamics trained ERP expertise.
