NEW DELHI, INDIA: Telecom networking equipment maker Ericsson signed a four-year agreement with Canada-based, Nova Scotia headquartered EastLink to build the latter's core and radio access networks, with its HSPA+ and next generation technologies.
Ericsson will deploy its multi-standard radio base station; RBS 6000, circuit switched and packet networks including Evolved Packet Core and Operation Support Systems (OSS), as well as, providing professional services.Also Read: Ericsson Alcatel gain mobile telecom gear share

The RBS 6000 is a multi-standard radio base station which supports GSM/EDGE, WCDMA/HSPA and LTE, providing a cost-effective deployment for next-generation mobile broadband, video, and web application services while providing subscribers with a superior user experience.
