1. What are the various activities undertaken by CMAI?

• Integrated development and growth of entire ICT, telecom sector in India and contribution in policy formulations, trade and commerce development between India and other countries, organizing conferences, seminars, delegations, exhibitions.

• CMAI also organises National Telecom Awards every year. Last year it was organised at Siri Fort.

2. What are your roles and responsibilities as a President?

To guide and lead the organisation.

4. What are the Key initiatives of CMAI?

• Apart from the various activities mentioned above, CMAI also organizes ICOMM International Communications Fair in New Delhi and Shenzhen. CMAI is represented on various committees of Government, BSNL, DOT etc.

• CMAI also has focus on environmental aspects of tevhnology and organised series of conferences for migration from IPv 4 to IPv 6 with TEC, DOT.

5. What are future plans of CMAI for 2012?

To continue to do developmental work for the sector.
