CHENNAI, INDIA: Gemini Communication Ltd, a provider of communications, networking solutions and system integration, today announced its results for the year ending March 31, 2008, with a 52 per cent jump in its Y-on-Y profits.

Net profit was at Rs.27.47 crore as against Rs 18.08 crore in 2007.

Net Revenue increased 47 per cent at Rs 236.12 crore for the period as against Rs 161.02 crore in 2007.

"We continue to maintain our growth momentum as we enter 2009 growing at more than 50 per cent YoY. Gemini has two different subsidiaries and the management feels that future growth into the international space will be through these two subsidiaries," said Vijay Kumar, chairman and MD, Gemini Communications Ltd.
