BANGALORE, INDIA: CA, Inc. announced that Saurabh Srivastava would take over as chairman of CA India, effective from April 6, 2009. The announcement was made by Michael Christenson, president and chief operating officer, CA. 

Srivastava would report to Christensen and look into CA's India sales and development operations. CA had offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi and an R&D facility in Hyderabad.

Part of CA's long term strategy is maximize penetration into emerging IT market powerhouses such as India.
