DALLAS, USA: M-Files Inc., the developer of M-Files easy document management software and the cloud-based document management service M-Files Cloud Vault has announced support for the Windows Phone 7.5, also known as "Mango."

Windows Phone 7.5 is a major software update for Windows Phone, the mobile operating system from Microsoft. The first devices pre-loaded with Windows Phone 7.5 became available in late 2011.

Windows Phone 7.5 users can utilize M-Files Mobile Access to retrieve important company documents on the go such as sales and marketing collateral, contract templates, project documentation and other vital information, said a press release.

"With M-Files Mobile Access, Windows Phone 7.5 users can access documents stored in centralized repositories, whether cloud-based or via on-premise servers behind company firewalls," said Greg Milliken, president of M-Files Inc.

"M-Files customers using ‘Mango’ can access and review documents as well as participate in automated business processes and workflows directly from their mobile device,” Milliken added.

In addition to supporting Windows Phone 7.5, M-Files Mobile Access is also available on the following devices:

* iPhone and iPad
* Android
* BlackBerry
* Symbian S60

The release further added that with M-Files, users store documents in a centralized vault, the same as they would on any other hard drive on their system or network, but rather than repeatedly searching for the right folder, users simply save documents to the vault and tag.

M-Files works like Windows Explorer, so the user interface is familiar to any Windows user and minimizes changes to the way employees work.

M-Files is also available as a cloud-based service known as M-Files Cloud Vault that runs on the Windows Azure platform, eliminating the need to purchase and configure a server and providing all the benefits of M-Files for a low monthly fee, added the release.
